For a while now I have been debating with myself if I should be a dental hygienist. A lot of people I know support this plan and I have always bothered about the career path that that profession will lead to. Then I read about becoming an
advanced dental hygienist practitioner. And then an epiphany set! I can choose not to become a dentist after all, I could just progress into an advanced dental hygienist practitioner!
You see my parents do not approve of working as a dental hygienist because they do not think that is a professional job; why not become a dentist instead, they would often muse. Perhaps if I told them about this advanced dental hygienist practitioner thing they would approve of me becoming a dental hygienist already.
