Artists, Writers and Labels, wishing to have there music aired on
The Independent Music Show---Presented by Tom Lambert.
PLEASE DO NOT EMAIL MP3s.
Apart from quality issues, I do not have the storage space...nor do I have the time to sort and place them in there genres with the information I need, to relay to the listeners of the show.
I know for some of you it's hard, but I would need a team of compilers to sort the amount of MP3s I receive...so on disc only, please.
If it's in the rack, it can be seen and all the information I need is on the sleeve.

Thank you,

Tom.

There's No More Gold
Posted December 5, 2010 by Fred Irving
'THERE'S NO MORE GOLD' a song from Beau Renfro.

This is one of my favourite songs, there is so much truth in this song, sadness and joy as the father wants his son to come home. The truth, yes the gold, diamonds and oil are all but depleted in the US of A, sad to say, but the love of a father for his son is worth more than all the gold, diamonds an oil in the whole world. As a part-time Country/Folk guitarist this is a song that I just love to play. I guess that I am just a sentimentalist at heart, but I am sure that everyone can relate to the message in this song, 'There's No More Gold'.

The Sierras
The Sierras Bio
Posted July 6, 2011 by The Sierras in Entertainment
The Sierras are an up and coming country band based in Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo,Ireland.
The Sierras are Anthony Waldron, Declan Lyons and John Lyons.
The band have just released their new single “country music lovin girl” to great reviews locally and internationally
The band owe much to their fans and the radio and tv stations that have played them and are grateful for all their support.
With the band’s debut single "As good as good can get", the follow up singles "finding you again" "The day we marry" and their new release "Country music lovin girl",
the guys are delighted with the positive feedback these releases have received.
The Sierras enjoy drawing from their country roots to produce these upbeat feel-good country tracks. These original self penned offerings written by Anthony Waldron and Declan Lyons are the band's first releases from their forth coming album (release date to follow shortly).
The bands influences range from Buck Owens, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggerd,Hal Ketchum and of course everything Irish.
The above singles are available to buy from iTunes and CD baby.

Everett Corbin
Everett Corbin and Vernon Oxford
Posted December 14, 2010 by Everett Corbin
Dear Country Music Friends:

I've never written a "blog" before. Is it simply speaking about a particular subject?

At any rate, I do have a few items I should pen, I suppose. In latter 2009, I almost died of bone cancer, and felt that It was time that I made a donation of some of my country music items to the Popular Music Center at the local university (MTSU), and did so while I was sick. I am now well again, and have begun anew to promote the music of Vernon Oxford, the traditional country music singer akin to the style of Hank Williams.

We have some videos on You Tube under both my name and Vernon's, and I appreciate this opportunity which Joyce has offered, to let you know now and then what is going on in the music world.

I am trying to get famous portrait painter Kenneth Hari to donate some painting of country artist he has done to MTSU; further, that MTSU use a display of sosme Vernon Oxford items.

In the meantime, the Joyce Ramgatie playlist board shows some good action of some of my songs, as recorded by Vernon.

Hope you like his style.

Also, I often pen "letters to the editor" for the local papers, and many of them are used. I just got through writing one about the bill Congress just might pass this week; but:

I will let you know that I am a fiscal conservative, and am hopeful that America will get its fiscal house in order, otherwise??

Let me hear from you at: ejcorbin@juno.com

Musically, in Christian love to all,

Everett J. Corbin
